My iPod Collection!!
I like iPods and I have a few. Not entirely sure how I got to this point...
First it started with digital minimalism--a practice of limiting the use of technology (Or just really social media and smartphones...), and now I just want to live like its at least 2005 or so, hehe uwu plus I'm just used to not using streaming for anything. So music players are the thing for meee!!
All of these are bought secondhand and/or refurbished, I've never had one of these as a kid but knew of their existance. So far I have 7 ouo
BACK HOME!| iPod Video 5th Gen My first one!! Love and miss her! I used it a lot and it kicked off my interest in iPods! Everything was fine for the first year or so but then recently I wanted to change the battery since it drained fairly fast, and I wanted to change the color of the click wheel too, but after installation there were some problems, and trying to fix them by replacing parts wasn't really working. Sent her off to someone who could repair her and it still didn't work because they replaced the wrong part. They offered a refund but I asked if they could try the repair again with the correct part, but I haven't heard from them since... |

| iPod Mini 1st Gen Literally only got this one just to have because it looked cute, and I liked the idea of an iPod to use a belt clip with so I can show it off. |
|
| iPod Shuffle 4th Gen Cute, pretty iconic, and is pink. Pretty sure I got it only because it was cheap and is like, the 2nd or 3rd most 2000's iPod if that makes sense. Even if this model came out in 2010. Sometimes I wanna wear it as a hair clip but I never do becuase I'm afraid of losing this small little thing. Plus apparently TikTok kids had that same idea already and I'm a hater so I like...don't wanna participate in any trends. Or I do but deny I'm doing so?? Like I like 2000s stuff but not the "Aesthetic-Y2K-calling-everything-Frutiger-Areo-Scene-and-kandi" kind of 2000s. Even if I do like the authentic verions of those things. |

| iPod Nano 3rd Gen Very tiny, love this one. The size of a cracker and I wanna pop it in my mouth. Was supposed to be used as some sort of sound machine for sleep while docked onto an alarm clock. Is now just part of my alarm clock and plays music to wake me up. |
|
| iPod Touch 5th Gen Trying to live with a more simplified phone kinda sucks when you need ASMR for sleep. So I thought this would be a nice little video-only device. It's nice and IOS 9 kinda looks cool, but I bought this used and didn't know the battery was ass until I got it. So it needs to be constantly plugged in if I wanna use it for more than 10 minutes. Haven't used it in a while and now recently it just bootloops. |
|
| iPod nano 7th Gen Supports Bluetooth and was bought to be used as a "work iPod" so I could listen to music at work without the need of a phone. Didn't want any wires getting in the way of working. Barely use it at work since I don't do as much mindless tasks as I used to, but I keep it in my bag for when I wanna listen to music while outside the house. |

| iPod Video 5th Gen I got this one only to replace my frist one since fixing it seemed like a lost cause... |
